Finding the right therapist can sometimes be a difficult task and I appreciate the time you are taking in consideration therapy here. I bring with me nearly 25 years as a treatment provider in the substance abuse and mental health profession. I've worked with nearly all the populations within the profession across different levels of care and am pleased to announce my position here beginning as of May 2011. I particularly enjoy working with adolescent and young adults struggling with both substance use and mental health complications; what the profession refers to as “dual disorders”. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Stout and attended graduate school at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL with a MS in Substance Abuse/Mental Health Counseling and Education.
